Chat & Payment Embedment for YIQI
In October 2021, I met the design leader of the YIQI developing team and joined this family as an Intern. I learned the design directions of YIQI and assisted designers to improve user experience and interface. For a smoother user flow and to satisfy the business plan from the marketing department, I was assigned to embed two new features, namely chat and payment, to YIQI.
Problem
Both features need to coordinate with the core function - Event, and to stand out from other social-oriented apps.
Solution
Organically combined the Chat and Payment with Event via allowing free access and management. Creating a consistent user experience from content to visual design.
